The Goals of our MA and PhD Graduate Programs

The goal of the University of Windsor’s Applied Social Psychology graduate programs are to educate students as researcher, and practitioners in various areas of Social Psychology with an emphasis on using research to promote positive change, whether it be at a societal, organizational, or individual level. The programs’ combination of course work, research, and practicum/internship experiences provide students with the training necessary to work in a variety of settings, including universities, educational and community organizations, government agencies, hospitals, profit/not-for-proft businesses, and management consulting firms.

What Makes Us Different?

Our emphasis on applied research-based interventions to promote positive change: societal, organizational, and individual change. Students develop strengths in three areas: assessment, intervention/prevention, and follow- up/evaluation in organizational and/or community contexts. Close collaborations and easy access to faculty.
